I began by making my envelopes out of card stock, its more durable. The problem...costs two stamps to mail successfully instead of one stamp. I had a book of paper that wasn't thick card stock but regular weight paper. I didn't want the print on the outside in order for the mail to be able to read the address. Instead I was able to create an envelope that is light weight, decorative inside, and able to be read.
